On 5 November 2015, I went to the DVLA office at 37, Accra to renew my licence (sticker). I got there between 10:30 and 11am. There were lots of customers waiting in all the blocks. With the photocopy of my license in my hand, i was directed to go to a room behind me (Block E). There a lady approached me to assist. She indicated today the place is busy and so she could help me expedite action on renewal process but then I should pay GHC50 though the approved fee is GHC25. Thereafter, I could 'thank her' with any amount I wished. I went back to the Customer Care office for clarification on the process and the lady affirmed the lady i talked to only wanted to help.
I told her I will not accept the 'assistance' and is returning to my office without the licence. Bribery is still very open at the *******
